FA Cup third round: Manchester City welcome Watford to the Etihad Stadium

Sergio Aguero: Will not be rushed back into action from a hamstring injury

Aguero is nursing a hamstring injury, but Roberto Mancini hopes he will be fit for next weekend's Premier League clash with Arsenal.

Jack Rodwell, Aleksandar Kolarov and Micah Richards remain on the sidelines, while Samir Nasri is serving a three-match ban.

City are also set to be without Kolo and Yaya Toure, with the pair currently away on Africa Cup of Nations duty with the Ivory Coast.

Fitz Hall will miss Watford's trip to the Etihad Stadium, while Manuel Almunia and Almen Abdi are both doubts.

Defender Hall sat out of the 4-3 defeat to Charlton on New Year's Day with a hamstring strain and will not have recovered in time for Saturday.

Goalkeeper Almunia picked up a slight hamstring strain against the Addicks but managed to complete the match and will be monitored.

Midfielder Abi also faces a race against time having been forced off just after the hour mark on Tuesday with a pelvic problem.

There is positive news fo r the Hornets in the shape of defender Lloyd Doyley, who is fit again against a calf injury.
