City set to seal Sinclair deal

Sinclair: On cusp of joining champions City

Sinclair has made no secret of his desire to join City, with the two clubs having been locked in negotiations over the past week.

It would now appear a deal has been done to take the player to the City of Manchester Stadium, with any loose ends to be tied up on Tuesday after the Bank Holiday.

Sinclair, 23, was left out of the Swansea squad that secured a 3-0 win over West Ham on Saturday after manager Michael Laudrup claimed the player was not in the right frame of mind to figure.

City boss Roberto Mancini has been vocal in his desire to add to his squad having so far over the summer only brought in Jack Rodwell from Everton.

Adam Johnson's switch to Sunderland at the back end of last week seems to have facilitated Sinclair's move to Manchester.
